On a typical day, you'd expect to find Atommy Sifa, a renowned Ohangla musician, belting out his hit songs or entertaining fans at a concert. However, in a recent video that has left many tongues wagging, Atommy Sifa was spotted working in a construction site in Kisumu, crushing stones to make small pebbles used for building houses.

According to the video, which was posted on Mpasho on July 8, 2020, Atommy Sifa was at his restaurant, which is set to open soon, and decided to share his entrepreneurial spirit with his fans.

“I want to tell you that this pandemic doesn’t mean that you lock yourself in the house and do nothing,” Atommy Sifa said in the video. “Personally, if my music doesn’t pay off, I have a backup plan. I can crush these stone into smaller pieces to sell and make money. But for now, these ones I’m working on right now I will use for my restaurant.”

Atommy Sifa, who is also a farmer, emphasized the importance of having multiple sources of income, saying, “As an artiste, don’t depend on one source of income. Go home and do something to build yourself.”

He also credited his late father for instilling hard work in him, saying, “I thank my late dad for instilling hard work in me. I’m used to any way of life, be it rich and poor I can blend in.”
