Published on July 8, 2020, Pastor Robert Burale's video has gone viral, as he shares his journey in the fight against Covid-19.

Warning Kenyans to stop treating the disease as a joke, Burale emphasizes the importance of adhering to set directives to avoid severe consequences.

Currently receiving oxygen from a tank, Burale's oxygen levels are improving, thanks to the care of medical professionals and the support of his community.

"I beg you, don't get to a place where you have to buy oxygen," Burale appeals to his audience. "My oxygen levels are getting better, thank you Reverend Kathy Kiuna. Guys, please stay safe, God bless you, pray for one another."

On Monday, Burale revealed that he was diagnosed with Covid-19 last week on Thursday, after rushing to Nairobi Hospital due to breathing complications.

"Last week Wednesday, I was struggling to breathe and rushed to Nairobi Hospital, where I was tested for Covid-19," Burale recalled. "24 hours later, the results were out... The doctor walks in to the isolation room and says, 'Hello Mr. Burale, your results are out.' I reply, 'So I can go home?' She says, 'Unfortunately, you have tested positive for Covid, and we have to take you to the isolation ward.'"
