Comedian Joseph Musyoka, popularly known as Kasee, met a tragic end in June 2020, and the circumstances surrounding his death have only recently come to light.
According to Ken Waudo, chairman of Comedian's society in Kenya, Kasee died from poisoning after drinking from a poisoned cup.
Waudo revealed the details in a statement released on Tuesday, citing postmortem results that confirmed the cause of death.
‘The final results of postmortem conducted on the late comedian indicate that he had drank from a poisoned chalice. It’s a matter under police investigations so we will not comment further on it,’ Waudo said.
Police investigations are currently underway, and Waudo has chosen not to divulge further information at this time.
Kasee was laid to rest at Itumunduni Village, Masinga Location, Matuu in Machakos County, just days after his passing.
