Kenya's COVID-19 Cases Hit 8,250 As 90 Leave Hospitals

On July 7, 2020, Kenya's COVID-19 cases reached a total of 8,250, with 183 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours.

Of the new cases, 177 were Kenyans, while six were foreigners. The youngest patient was four years old, and the oldest was 79 years old.

The Health ministry tested 2,061 samples in 24 hours, bringing the total of samples tested in the country to 193,455.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced that 90 patients had been discharged from health facilities in the last 24 hours, raising total recoveries to 2,504.
