Comedian Kasee's death has taken a shocking turn with an autopsy report revealing he was poisoned, contrary to initial reports of alcoholism and depression.
According to Kenya Comedians Society chairman Ken Waudo, the deceased, Joseph Musyoki, received a call from friends on June 28 to join them for drinks at a local joint, but never returned home.
Waudo stated that Kasee had promised to call his dad immediately he got home but never did, and that the kids at the scene where he was found dead revealed he had complained of stomach problems and decided to take a nap before going home.
The autopsy report, released on July 3, 2020, from the Chiromo mortuary, revealed that Kasee's brain was clear, and his liver was not severely damaged, leading investigators to believe he was poisoned.
Waudo also revealed that investigations were ongoing, and that Kasee is survived by two children and a wife.
