Ferrari is set to accelerate their car upgrade plans after a disappointing performance at the Austrian Grand Prix on July 7, 2020.
Team chief executive Louis Camilleri acknowledged that the SF1000 car 'didn't measure up' and called for improvements 'on all fronts.'
Camilleri stated, 'It's clear that we have to improve on all fronts. The only solution is to react.'
The team aims to introduce additional aerodynamic components, originally scheduled for the Hungarian Grand Prix, at the upcoming Styrian Grand Prix.
Charles Leclerc finished the Austrian Grand Prix in second place, while his teammate Sebastian Vettel struggled, finishing 10th due to a lack of speed on the straights.
Camilleri emphasized that the team is working to address their shortcomings and expressed confidence in team principal Mattia Binotto and the team.
