On July 7, 2020, Kenya confirmed 183 new COVID-19 cases, increasing the national case load to 8,250.

According to Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe, the new cases were detected from 2,061 samples tested.

Of the new cases, 177 were Kenyans, while 6 were foreigners.
