On July 7, 2020, the entertainment fraternity in Kenya was left reeling from the news of the untimely death of young comedian Kasee.

Initial investigations were met with unclear circumstances, prompting further investigations by the government chemist after an inconclusive postmortem result.

Former Churchill show comedian Kasee's death sparked widespread shock and grief, with many questioning the truth behind his demise.

Chairman of Comedians in Kenya, Ken Waudo, revealed that the autopsy results indicated Kasee had drunk from a poisoned chalice, contradicting earlier claims of alcoholism as a major cause of death.

Waudo declined to provide further details, citing the case as under police investigation.

However, he disclosed that Kasee's family would be supported in the best way possible, with plans underway to support the widow with business ventures from excess contributions made.

May Kasee's soul find eternal peace.
