Published on July 7, 2020, an autopsy report revealed that comedian Joseph Musyoka Kivindu, popularly known as Kasee, was poisoned to death.
Ken Waudo, chairman of the Comedians In Kenya Society, made this shocking revelation.
The late comedian was laid to rest over the weekend at Itumunduni Village, Masinga Location, Matuu, Machakos, in a burial that was heavily supervised due to stringent Covid-19 measures.
Due to these measures, many of Kasee's colleagues, friends, comedians, and family members were locked out of the burial.
Waudo explained that plans are underway to support Kasee's widow with business ventures from the excess contributions made.
According to Waudo, the final results of the postmortem conducted on Kasee indicated that he had drunk from a poisoned chalice.
However, Waudo added that the matter is under police investigation, and therefore, they will not comment further on it.
