East Africa's music scene is abuzz with excitement as Mbosso, one of the region's most adventurous voices, readies his new album. The singer, known for his consistent release of hit songs, has been working tirelessly to ensure that his new project meets his high standards.
Two weeks ago, Mbosso's label boss Diamond Platnumz took to Instagram to announce the imminent arrival of the singer's new album. Diamond's enthusiasm was palpable as he commented, 'I can't wait for your ALBUM to come Out!' on Mbosso's post.
Speaking to journalists, Mbosso finally revealed when fans could expect his new project. The singer announced that his new album is ready and would be coming out before July ends. However, he revealed that he might be forced to postpone it due to the country's forthcoming elections.
Though he neglected to share the name of the album, Mbosso said that it will have not more than 10 songs. In an interview, he explained, 'Actually inafaa itokee mapema, mwezi wa saba mwishoni itakiwa itoke. Lakini inatakiwa tuisogeze mbele kidogo kama unavojua saa hivi campaign zinaanza …kwa hiyo lazima tuiache kwanza campaign alafu si tuangalie ratiba yetu itakaaje hapo mbele ila albamu iko tayari na nina imani mashabiki zangu wataipenda sana,yaani nmejiandaa vizuri sana. Moja ya kitu ambacho nmekuwa nakpigania sana usiku na mchana ni kuandaaa albamu yangu.'
