On Tuesday morning, a devastating accident occurred along Mombasa Road, claiming the lives of three people.
The incident took place near Maanzoni Lodge on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, where two trucks collided with a Probox car, sandwiching it.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred just a few meters from Maanzoni Lodge.
Speaking to the press, Machakos County Government Emergency Services Director David Mwongela confirmed that the three deceased were drivers of the two trucks and a turn boy.
Rescue efforts are still underway to save the driver of the Probox car, who remains trapped in the wreckage.
