On Wednesday, Jambojet will resume flights to five local destinations following the government's lifting of the ban on movement in and out of Nairobi, Mombasa, and Mandera counties.

The airline has been working with the Government of Kenya and authorities to ensure a safe environment for customers when flights resume.

According to Jambojet's acting Managing Director, Karanja Ndegwa, the airline will follow safety guidelines to offer customers a safe and pleasant flying experience.

These measures include thorough sanitization of aircraft with industry-approved disinfectants, HEPA filtration systems, mandatory face masks for passengers and crew, temperature checks, and hand sanitizers at customer touch points.

Jambojet halted operations on April 7, 2020, due to President Uhuru Kenyatta's directive to curb the spread of COVID-19.
