July 7, 2020, marked a day of terror for a man in Embu County, Kenya, after he was attacked by a swarm of bees sent by a woman he refused to marry.
The man, who has not been named, had been living in a house in the Kiritiri area of Embu County when the woman, who is a dancer, began to pressure him to marry her daughter.
However, the man refused, citing that he did not love her daughter, and this led to a bitter dispute between the two families.
According to reports, the woman's father, a traditional healer, had promised to give the man a plot of land if he agreed to marry his daughter, but the man refused.
As a result, the woman's father allegedly sent a swarm of bees to attack the man, forcing him to flee his home.
The man was left shaken and injured after the attack, and he has since been forced to relocate to a different area.
