Wazito FC, a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side, has parted ways with head coach Stewart Hall. The British tactician, who took charge of the team in November 2019, announced his departure in a press statement published on Wazito's website.
According to Hall, he needed to spend more time with his family in the UK, which led to his decision to leave the club. He expressed gratitude to the club management, players, and other members of the technical bench for the opportunity to work with them.
Under Hall's leadership, the team had made significant strides, registering good results before the COVID-19 pandemic halted the league. The team was unbeaten in almost ten matches, a testament to the progress made during his tenure.
Club CEO Dennis Gicheru praised Hall's contribution to the team, acknowledging that he had built a strong side. Gicheru also revealed that the club would be making an announcement on the composition and structure of the new technical bench soon.
