On World Cooperatives Day, celebrated on the first Saturday of July, Optiven Limited, a leading real estate company in Kenya, highlighted its commitment to cooperative partnerships. The company's Group Chief Executive, George Wachiuri, confirmed that Optiven has partnered with two top Sacco's in the United States, empowering numerous members to own homes across its projects.

Optiven's vision is to economically and socially empower and transform society, aligning with the cooperatives movement's goal of providing members with a better life. The company has been in the real estate business for over 20 years, earning awards in various fields, including Financial Inclusion, Philanthropy, Value Addition, Customer Service, and Communication.

As part of its commitment to climate action, Optiven launched a green feature at its award-winning project, Amani Ridge | The Place of Peace, which includes a solar-powered fountain, the only one of its kind in the county. The company also goes green in its projects through landscaping, waste management, and infrastructure.

Optiven's commitment to cooperative partnerships and climate action has made a significant impact, as evident in its various initiatives, including the launch of a solar-powered swimming pool in Kitengela and tree planting and clean-up activities at the county level.
