Safaricom, a leading telecommunications company in Kenya, has announced that its M-Pesa services will be disrupted for 5 hours on July 6, from 5:50 PM to 11:00 AM on July 7.
The disruption is part of the company's efforts to improve its system and provide better services to its customers.
During this period, all M-Pesa services, including mobile money transactions, will be unavailable.
The company has stated that this disruption is necessary to upgrade its system and ensure that its services are reliable and efficient.
According to Safaricom, the upgrade will enable the company to provide better services to its customers and improve the overall user experience.
On July 6, 2020, Safaricom tweeted, "Regarding this, our M-PESA services will be upgraded on Monday, July 6, 2020, from 5:50 PM to 11:00 AM."
"All M-Pesa services, including mobile money transactions, will be unavailable during this period," the company stated.
