On Monday, a dramatic scene unfolded at Elukho village in Luramabi, Kakamega County, where a husband caught his wife in the act with a preacher man.
According to Josephat, the husband, he returned home from work early to find his wife engaging in sexual intercourse with the preacher man in his own bed.
The evangelist, who preaches at the Solid Rock for Jesus Christ, escaped on foot, leaving behind his motorcycle and some of his clothes.
Local residents who witnessed the drama condemned the preacher man's actions, deeming them ungodly.
Police officers have launched an investigation into the matter and have impounded the preacher's motorcycle and taken the clothes he left behind.
Local elders have called on the family of the offending preacher to appease his guilt and apologize to Josephat by providing cows and goats through the chief.
However, Josephat has vowed not to forgive his wife, despite having three children with her.
