Chelsea's hopes of securing a top-four finish in the Premier League have been dealt a blow with the confirmation that N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kavacic, and Fikayo Tomori will miss their trip to Crystal Palace on July 7, 2020.

Frank Lampard's side will be keen to build on their 3-0 win over Watford at the weekend, but they will have to do so without the services of three key players.

According to Lampard, Kante picked up a hamstring problem during the second half of the win over Watford, while Kavacic has been nursing an Achilles injury that has kept him out of the last two fixtures.

Tomori, meanwhile, suffered a setback and is expected to return to the squad soon.

However, the Blues will be boosted by the availability of Jorginho, who is expected to return to the fold against Crystal Palace.

Chelsea currently occupy fourth place in the standings with 57 points, just two ahead of Manchester United and one behind Leicester, who sit third.

Victory at Selhurst Park will be enough to see them momentarily leapfrog Leicester to third place.
