EPL Week 35: A Crucial Week for Relegation Battles ¶
With four matches left in the English Premier League (EPL) season, the battle for survival has intensified, particularly for Norwich City, who are all but set to play in the EFL Championship next season.
City is seven points off the relegation zone, and two of their four remaining matches will be away at Manchester City and Chelsea, making any hope of survival a daunting task.
Tottenham vs Arsenal: The North London Derby ¶
The biggest clash of EPL week 35 will see Tottenham host Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London on Saturday, July 11.
The North London derby is a fiercely contested match, with both teams fighting for more than just points - the bragging rights are at stake.
Spurs are currently struggling in the league, and Jose Mourinho will need to conjure a winning formula to down the Gunners. Arsenal, on the other hand, has managed to arrest their poor performance in their first two matches after the restart and are currently on a good run in the league.
Key players for Tottenham include Harry Kane, who has been a prolific scorer against Arsenal, and Heung-Min Son and Dele Ali, who will need to be at their absolute best. For Arsenal, captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, fast-rising youngster Bukayo Saka, and Granit Xhaka in the middle of the park are players Mikel Arteta will be banking on.
However, Arsenal will be without keeper Bernd Leno, Calum Chambers, and Pablo Mari due to injuries, while Mesut Ozil is doubtful for the match.
