On July 6, 2020, Pastor Robert Burale's life took a dramatic turn when he tested positive for COVID-19.

He recounts his journey, from the initial shock and fear to his eventual recovery, in a heartfelt social media post.

"The battle belongs to the Lord," he begins, reflecting on his experience.

"I was struggling to breathe and rushed to Nairobi Hospital, where I was tested for COVID-19. 24 hours later, the results were out..."

He recalls the doctor's words, "Unfortunately, you have tested positive for COVID, and we have to take you to the isolation ward."

As he navigated the hospital's isolation ward, Pastor Burale encountered the dedication and hard work of the medical staff, who fought to keep patients alive.

"I saw the Hand of God," he says, crediting his faith for his recovery.

He urges his followers to be careful and to remember the frontline warriors in prayer, encouraging them to stay safe.

"The battle is the Lord's... We shall overcome," he concludes, asking for their prayers and promising to testify to his experience.
