Joan Kubai, a prominent figure in Kenyan high society, has found herself at the center of a controversy after a video of her Runda mansion went viral.
Published on various social media platforms, the video showcased the opulent interior and exterior of her palatial home, complete with a well-manicured backyard and a swimming pool.
However, Kubai took to her Instagram account to express her disappointment and frustration with the situation, stating that she never intended for the video to be shared publicly.
"That is not right. That is an invasion of privacy. And me posting it did not mean that people should repost it talking about how my dad got his money or how he is into the illegal business. That is how he got that money," Kubai said.
She further clarified that the video was meant to be a private post, and that Kenyans had blown the situation out of proportion.
"That wasn’t the point for the video, that wasn’t the point for the house tour. I was just posting like any other post," Kubai added.
