Comedian Francis Munyao, alias MCA Tricky, has bid farewell to Radio Maisha after a two-year stint with the Standard Group-owned radio station. According to Billy Miya, MCA Tricky's exit was confirmed on Friday, July 3, 2020, as he tendered his resignation to join Milele FM.
“It is true, he is leaving this Friday, he has already tendered his resignation and will replace Jalang'o who left Milele FM,” noted Miya.
Although Miya expressed that MCA Tricky's departure was a significant blow, he remained optimistic about the future of Radio Maisha. He praised MCA Tricky as one of the best radio presenters in the country, citing his exceptional spontaneity and comebacks.
“That guy is funny, like seriously funny. He has some spontaneity and comebacks that are unmatched, that is what I will miss about him,” noted Billy.
As MCA Tricky takes on the role at Milele FM, Miya acknowledged that it would take some time before he is replaced at Radio Maisha. Billy Miya expressed his openness to working with anyone who will be brought on board to take the show to the next level.
