A church in Ingotse, Navakholo, Kakamega County suffered damage after a police vehicle crashed into it.

According to eyewitnesses, a female police officer was being trained on how to drive by a male colleague when the vehicle lost control and crashed into the church.

Locals accused the male trainer of being drunk at the time of the incident, a claim that could not be independently verified.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, but residents are now demanding that the police officers and the Navakholo Police Station fund the rebuilding of the damaged church.
