On Sunday, residents of Juja town were shocked to find a dead man stuck in a car's driver's seat.
According to eyewitnesses, the car had been parked overnight opposite restaurants that are popular with late-night patrons.
Security personnel at Unitas bank noticed the car and its occupant, who remained stuck in the driver's seat, as late as 10:00 a.m.
They called the police, who responded promptly and liaised with the Juja sub-county rapid response team to remove the body.
Health personnel clad in protective gear took away the body, and the police towed the car to Juja police station for further investigation.
On July 6, 2020, the incident occurred, and the police were quick to respond to the scene.
