Babu Owino's Kileleshwa Apartment Scandal

Published on July 6, 2020

A Kenyan woman has come forward with a shocking account of her encounter with Babu Owino in a Kileleshwa apartment, where he allegedly hosted a wild party and manhandled her.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, rented out her apartment on Airbnb and had never taken offline clients before. However, she was convinced by the caretaker to rent out her house for a few hours to a couple, who she was told was a trustworthy politician.

On the day of the incident, the woman's cleaner reported that the guests were still inside the apartment at 6 pm, and the caretaker assured her that they would check out at the normal time. However, the next morning, the cleaner called again, frantic that the guests were still inside and that it was loud with screaming and music.

The woman rushed to the apartment and found it in disarray, with broken and dirty plates, glasses, and bottles all over the kitchen floor and sink. She also found Babu Owino sitting in the middle of the room, surrounded by a group of people, including drunk women and men.

When the woman asked Babu Owino to turn down the music so that they could talk, the drunk women responded by telling her to chill and that she could say what she wanted without turning down the music. Babu Owino then commanded her to listen to the drunk women, sit down, and have a drink.

When the woman refused, Babu Owino started shouting insults in her face, calling her ugly and not attractive. He then handed her over to his goons, who manhandled her out of the apartment, slapping the back of her head and putting her in a chokehold.

Luckily, the woman's neighbor intervened, and the goons let her go. The woman has since spoken out about her terrifying experience, alleging that Babu Owino's behavior was unacceptable and that he should be held accountable for his actions.
