Published on July 6, 2020, Maina Kageni has shed light on the reasons behind Vanessa Mdee's decision to quit music.
According to Maina, Vanessa's high standards for herself were the primary reason for her departure from the music industry.
Speaking during his morning show, Maina said, 'Sometimes we should not set such high standards for ourselves. She never got over that fact, Sa zingine it's good for us to set goals that are achievable.'
Vanessa had earlier claimed that the entertainment industry is demonic, stating, 'The reason why I had to leave the industry is because I needed to choose my life, the music industry is demonic.'
However, Maina's revelation suggests that Vanessa's decision to quit music was more personal and related to her own expectations rather than the industry's alleged demonic nature.
