Joan Kubai's Runda Mansion Tour Sparks Excitement ¶

The video, shared by Kubai on July 5, 2020, offered a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of Kenya's rich, featuring several rooms, an indoor lift, and a swimming pool.
As the video circulated on platforms like WhatsApp and Twitter, it inspired an online petition by one Kenyan who sought 100 signatures in support of him moving in with the Kubais.
Twitter users couldn't help but make comparisons between the stunning mansion and their own bedsitters and rental apartments.
"Joan can get lost on her way to the main kitchen for a snack meanwhile in the bedsitter when you step out of bed in the morning you can slip on your face towel and crash into the neighbour's door," joked Mack Shem.
"I watched Joan Kubai's video of the mansion only to wake up in my bedsitter looking at a knife in the basin and a sufuria on top of my radio," shared Pablo Clavers.
"I think my bedsitter can fit into Joan's house five or six times," observed a shocked Jonte.
The tour showcased Kubai's room, her siblings' room, lighting fixtures, bathrooms, and walk-in closets, as well as the manicured backyard featuring life-size sculptures of animals and a swimming pool.
Some considered the video to be part of the global 'Rich Check' challenge that has taken platforms like Tik Tok and Instagram by storm in recent weeks.
Joan Kubai later expressed her surprise on Twitter after finding herself as one of the top trends in the country on July 6, 2020, remarking, "You guys should stop. You all are killing me,"
