On July 5, 2020, Tony Gachoka, a political commentator, took to Twitter to express his frustration with Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi's response to his previous tweets.
Gachoka had claimed that Deputy President William Ruto is no longer a billionaire, and instead, his cash reserves are drying up fast.
Responding to Gachoka's tweet, Ahmednasir Abdullahi asked him to play his part in nation building by starting a small business and creating jobs for young people, instead of engaging in idle talk.
However, Gachoka fired back at Ahmednasir, accusing him of aiding individuals caught in corruption scandals.
He mentioned that Ahmednasir has represented several individuals in corruption-related cases, including Anne Waiguru, John Waluke, and Deepak Kamani of Angloleasing & Weston.
Gachoka also accused Ahmednasir of being a corruption enabler and called on him to stop aiding corrupt individuals.
He tweeted, 'Senior Counsel, you aid & abet corruption actors; Ruto fanatics call you a 'great mind' YET you feature in every corruption case. AA @ahmednasirlaw you represented Waiguru, Waluke, Deepak Kamani of Angloleasing & Weston – yet you can dare call me 'idle talk'. A corruption enabler!'
