On July 6, 2020, a shocking discovery was made at the Athi River police station, where the bodies of two children were found in a car that had been missing for three weeks.

According to sources, sleuths from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations visited the scene twice and questioned several people, including a man who works at the police canteen who claimed to have seen the two children in the yard.

Initial investigations suggest that the deaths could be linked to an occult practice, with detectives focusing on the parents as potential suspects.

Several people have come forward with information that links the couple to the disappearance, with one source alleging that the killing could have been a 'sacrifice deal' that required a firstborn and a last-born child.

Police suspect that the parents may have sacrificed the children to acquire riches, and that they may have offered their own child and another in exchange.

'There is crucial information which makes detectives believe the couple has a case to answer,' said a source. 'From preliminary investigations into the cruel death, the incident might not have just been cruelty but a heinous act targeting a beneficial outcome.'
