Former K24 journalist Nancy Onyancha has bounced back after being fired from her previous job, landing a new position at Switch TV.

Onyancha, who was among the 100 Mediamax employees shown the door during a mass layoff at the Kenyatta-family owned media house, announced the news through Instagram and Facebook on July 6, 2020.

Her husband, Job Mwaura, was over the moon and joined her fans in sending congratulatory messages.

Onyancha was fired on June 24, 2020, but she has now found a new home at Switch TV, where she will be working alongside her husband, who was also sacked from K24.

Her fans and followers were thrilled to hear the news, with many sending congratulatory messages and praising her determination and hard work.

Onyancha's husband, Job Mwaura, was among the first to express his pride in his wife, writing 'Go shine girl' and attaching two clapping emojis.

Onyancha and her husband had announced their exit from K24 on social media, hoping to venture into their next big assignment.

Days later, they unveiled their new media company named Sauti Tajika.

Onyancha's fans and followers have been sending her congratulatory messages, praising her determination and hard work.
