Moses Kuria's Blunt Remarks Spark Abrupt End to Interview ¶
On July 5, 2020, an interview with Moses Kuria on Inooro TV's Kiririmbi segment was abruptly cut short after he made some contentious comments about Ndaragwa constituency.
During the interview, Kuria stated that he had the freedom to discuss Ndaragwa because it was not his family's property. He also claimed that his removal from the parliamentary committee was a blow to the Mlima Kenya region.
Jeremiah Kioni, the MP for Ndaragwa, was also present during the interview and engaged in a heated exchange with Kuria. Kioni told Kuria to stop discussing Ndaragwa and focus on his own constituency of Gatundu.
When Kuria refused, Kioni told him, 'Remember, Ndaragwa is not your mother's.' The interviewer, Francis Gachuri, then intervened and ended the interview abruptly.
It is worth noting that Kuria had previously stated that his removal from the parliamentary committee was a ploy to undermine the Mlima Kenya region.
