Published on July 5, 2020, Citizen Digital reported that Isaac Cherogony, the husband of Baringo County Woman Representative Gladwell Tungo, had passed away due to COVID-19 complications at a hospital in Eldoret.
According to reports, Mr. Cherogony developed breathing complications and was rushed to the facility, where he succumbed to the disease on Saturday evening.
Following his death, the home of the deceased was cordoned off as contact tracing continued, and Gladwell Tungo was also tested for the novel coronavirus, with her results expected later in the week.
