Published on July 5, 2020, Citizen Digital reported that Isaac Cherogony, the husband of Baringo County Woman Representative Gladwell Tungo, had passed away due to COVID-19 complications at a hospital in Eldoret.
According to reports, Mr. Cherogony developed breathing complications and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to the disease on Saturday evening.
As contact tracing continues, the home of the deceased has been cordoned off, and Gladwell Tungo has also been tested for the novel coronavirus, with her results expected this week.
