On July 5, 2020, just hours after Churchill comedian Kasee was laid to rest in Machakos, Terrence Creative, alias Kamami, penned an emotional letter to the late comedian.
The letter commends Kasee for his bravery and hard work in providing for his family, despite facing tough times.
Terrence Creative reminisced on the good times Kasee had in life before his demise, including his time at Carnivore and his comedy shows.
He wrote, 'You came to Nairobi by bus and you went back home by bus, but this time a bit different. You had your dreams and ambitions, some you achieved some you never, to some you may have failed and to some you made pride, it's life and you'll never get it 100% right.'
He also shared valued memories of Kasee, including a time when he took a Boda up to Kasarani from Kinoo just not to miss a show, and another time when he was late for a comedy arena show but still managed to make it.
Terrence Creative added that people had so much to remember about Kasee and the sacrifices he had made, and promised to work hard to place the industry where it needs to be.
