On July 4, 2020, Baringo woman representative Gladwell Cheruiyot suffered a personal loss as her husband, Isaac Cherogony, succumbed to COVID-19 complications in an Eldoret hospital.
According to reports, Isaac Cherogony had been receiving treatment for breathing complications before his untimely death.
The legislator, Gladwell Cheruiyot, was also tested for the virus and is awaiting her test results, while their home was sealed off as contact tracing continues.
