Comedian Zeddy has been vocal about her grievances against Victor Ber, the creative director of a popular comedy show. According to Zeddy, Ber has a history of shutting down new talents instead of nurturing their growth in the industry.
She cites the cases of late Njenga Mswahili and Kasee, who were both talented comedians who were allegedly discouraged by Ber. This led to them leaving the show, despite having shown great potential.
To support her claims, Zeddy has shared videos of fellow comedians, including Chipukeezy and Njoroge, who have spoken out about their experiences with Ber.
Chipukeezy, in a past interview, narrated how Ber discouraged him during an audition, despite having been given the green light by Churchill. Ber allegedly laughed at Chipukeezy's jokes and then told him to pursue other careers, such as boxing or music.
Njoroge also shared his experience with Ber, who laughed at his jokes but then shut him down after his performance. Ber allegedly told Njoroge to pursue journalism instead of comedy.
