On July 3, 2020, a milestone was achieved for Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed as she was among 198 advocates admitted to the bar in a ceremony presided over by Chief Justice David Maraga.

After a seven-year wait, Amb. Mohammed finally signed the roll, expressing her gratitude to the team that freed up time for her to achieve this milestone.

“Thank you very much. I am most grateful for this opportunity even though it comes 7 years after gazettement in 2013. Thank you to the team for freeing up time for me to finally sign the roll,” tweeted Amb. Mohammed.

With a Master of Law degree in International Law from the University of Kiev in Ukraine and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations from the University of Oxford, Amb. Mohammed has demonstrated her commitment to academic excellence.
