Kenyan musician Akothee has expressed her heartfelt condolences to the family of Churchill comedian Kasee, who passed away recently.
Although Akothee did not know Kasee personally, she understands the pain of a mother losing her son.
She revealed that she would have helped Kasee if he had reached out to her, even offering him a place to stay until he was stable on his own again.
'As a mother, I am touched by the pain of losing a child,' Akothee said. 'Since the COVID-19 pandemic, everything seemed out of place. There is a root cause of everything.'
Akothee also expressed her disappointment at the lack of support among celebrities, saying that even they don't love or support each other.
'I have just learned today that Kasee didn't even have a place to stay. Renting him a house for 5,000 shillings per month would not have broken me,' she said.
Akothee ended her message by urging all celebrities who are struggling to reach out to her for help, saying she can provide food and accommodation until the pandemic is over.
'I can't buy you a Lamborghini, but I can provide food and accommodation until Corona is gone. Don't struggle to die up there. I am totally broken today.'
