On July 4, 2020, news broke that Tim Rimbui, a renowned Kenyan music producer, had parted ways with his wife Wandiri Mugambi after more than ten years of marriage.
According to a statement by his publicist Bilha Ngaruiya, the couple had amicably agreed to divorce and live separate lives.
Wandiri, a skilled musician, lawyer, and Director of the Kenya Conservatoire of Music Intellectual Property Expert, had married Tim on July 5, 2008.
Together, they co-founded Ennovator Music, a recording studio and production company.
Although the exact date of their separation remains unclear, the couple has been known to keep their personal life private.
Tim Rimbui confirmed the news on Twitter, quoting a local website's story, saying, 'It's out. Msinipigie,' which roughly translates to 'It's out. Let it be.'
