Equity Group emerged as the top mover of the day, with 2.1 million shares traded, and its shares fluctuating between KSh 32.65 and KSh 34.00. The bank's turnover for the day was KSh 69.17 million in 218 deals.
Kenya Airways shares were suspended from trading on Friday, while Safaricom saw a turnover of KSh 28.01 million in 93 deals, with its shares trading between KSh 29.00 and KSh 30.
Other top movers of the day included KCB, KPLC, and Kengen. KCB's turnover for the day was KSh 30.31 million, while KPLC and Kengen realized turnovers of KSh 1.6 million and KSh 3 million, respectively.
Cooperative Bank saw a turnover of KSh 1.63 million, closing the day with a 1.67% share price appreciation. NCBA and Diamond Trust Bank also witnessed significant turnovers, with KSh 1.55 million and KSh 2.32 million, respectively.

Losers of the day were Total Kenya, WPP Scangroup, NSE, BK Group, and Flame Tree Group, with share price depreciations ranging from 1.42% to 4.67%.
