On July 4, 2020, Kenya set a new record in daily coronavirus cases, with 389 new infections reported, bringing the total number of cases to 7,577.
According to Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe, all but three of the new cases were Kenyan nationals.
The ages of the confirmed cases ranged from one to 93 years, highlighting the widespread impact of the pandemic in the country.
