Uhuru Kenyatta: The Enemy of Kalenjin People ¶
President Uhuru Kenyatta has been accused of being the enemy of the Kalenjin people by Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi. Sudi made the remarks on Thursday, July 2, while speaking to mourners.
According to Sudi, Uhuru had backed out from the 'kumi ya Uhuru, kumi ya Ruto' (10 years for Uhuru, 10 for Ruto) agreement, which he had pledged to fulfill if Deputy President William Ruto supported his 2013 and 2017 presidential bid.
Uhuru had allegedly vowed to support Ruto's presidential ambitions, but Sudi claimed that he had turned his back on that agreement, despite the Mt. Kenya region's support for the Deputy President.
