On July 3, 2020, Huduma Kenya announced the resumption of normal services at its centres in Nairobi, which had been scaled down for three months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to a public notice, the centres will now offer a range of services, including the issuance of certificates of good conduct, Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) services, and the issuance of identification cards, police abstracts, and birth certificates.

While in the centres, customers are advised to maintain social distancing, use hand sanitisers, and cough or sneeze into their sleeves or disposable tissues.

Other government services, such as business registration, NHIF and NSFF services, NTSA, and Kenya Power services, can still be accessed online and via mobile platforms.

President Uhuru Kenyatta had urged government offices, companies, and businesses to allow employees to work from home on March 15 to help curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
