On July 3, 2020, comedian and former Milele FM presenter Felix Odiwour, popularly known as Jalang'o, confirmed that he had replaced Andrew Kibe at Kiss 100.
During a YouTube live session on his Bonga na Jalas channel, Jalang'o hosted Kibe, where they addressed several issues that had been speculated about by Kenyans.
Speaking about his resignation, Kibe praised his former co-host Kamene Goro as a hard-working individual who was always one of the first people to arrive at work.
However, Kibe revealed that he had not informed Goro about his pending exit, and that the two had met in a club in Nairobi on the evening before the announcement but did not discuss the job.
According to Kibe, he had told his boss about his decision to leave three months prior, after catching him looking at him with pity in his eyes.
He also hinted that he was intoxicated when making the decision, and that being on the radio made him feel caged and censored, with instances where he was forced to think about his content and whether it would be flagged by the Communications Authority.
