On July 3, 2020, seven suspects were arraigned at the Milimani law courts in connection with a daylight robbery incident in Kilimani, Nairobi.
Among those arraigned was Ibrahim Abdi Hussein, who was found in possession of a laptop and a mobile phone belonging to the robbery victim.
According to investigating officers, the suspects had been trailing the suspects for some time and had been using a mode of operation where they would commit the offences and then resurface after some time.
The suspects have been detained until July 8, 2020, when their bail terms will be ruled.
Those arraigned in court include: Humphrey Minyata, Jahan Timothy Mzami, Mary Wambui, Ali Musa, Collins Munyasa Munanga, Adan Alio Ali, and Ibrahim Hussein.
Investigating officers recovered a pocket knife, a jacket, and a pair of camouflage sneakers from the suspects' hideouts in Kawangware, Gatina, and Pangani.
