A dramatic birth was captured on camera in a Florida hospital parking lot, leaving many in awe of the unexpected turn of events.
Susan Anderson, a new mother, had planned for a water birth at the hospital, but her baby had other ideas.
As she and her husband, Joseph, approached the hospital building, Susan felt the urge to push, and the baby was born in the parking lot.
"During the car ride to the birth center, I turned to my husband, and I was like, 'I need to push!'", Susan recalled.
"I didn't think I wouldn't make it into the building," she added.
Despite the unexpected birth, Susan and her husband were relieved that both mother and baby were safe and healthy.
"That was my focus, just getting inside to the birthing tub, but she had other ideas," Susan said.
The incident serves as a reminder of the unpredictability of childbirth and the importance of being prepared for any situation.
