Kenyan smartphone enthusiasts now have another option to consider, as Oppo has started selling the Oppo A52 in the country.
Available at a lower price point of Kshs 25,000, the Oppo A52 is essentially a trimmed-down version of the Oppo A92, which was launched in Kenya last month.
While the A52 retains the same 6.5-inch Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 655 chipset, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor as its pricier sibling, it comes with 4GB of RAM instead of the A92's 8GB.
One notable difference between the two devices is the camera setup, with the A52 featuring a 12-megapixel main sensor compared to the A92's 48-megapixel sensor.
As with the A92, the Oppo A52 is bundled with a pair of truly wireless earbuds, the Oppo Enco W11, which are priced at Kshs 5,000 apiece.
However, buyers who purchase the A52 through Jumia Kenya during the ongoing Anniversary Sale can get the Enco W11s for Kshs 3,000.
