Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has been credited with helping DJ Evolve's recovery from a shooting incident that left him bedridden at Nairobi Hospital.
According to DJ Evolve's father, John Orinda, Babu Owino has been taking responsibility for his son's medication, which has led to significant improvement in his condition.
“Vile aliingia kwa nyumba naona iko improvement na iko dawa analetewa, yule anayeleta hizo dawa ni Babu Owino. Nurses wako naye mchana na usiku na hao pia ni Babu Owino aliprovide,” he said.
Mr. Orinda also expressed his gratitude to Babu Owino for covering the costly medication expenses that doctors have been prescribing to the DJ.
Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji had previously stated that the shooting incident had affected the victim’s speech, rendering him unable to record a statement, which is why the case had taken long.
