Comedian Zeddy has sparked a heated debate in the Churchill show community by accusing Victor Ber, the husband of popular comedian Teacher Wanjiku, of favoritism.
According to Zeddy, Ber has the final say in who performs or doesn't perform during the show, and he allegedly doesn't like it when other comedians shine more than his wife.
Teacher Wanjiku responded to the allegations on her Instagram, posting a message that seemed to indirectly target Zeddy.
'Let go of your problem and Let God handle them! Let go of your hurt and Let God heal you! Let go of your fear and Let God sustain you! Let go of your worries and Let God Bless you!' she wrote.
However, the controversy didn't end there. Sleepy David, another Churchill show comedian, jumped into the fray, saying that Zeddy was only 'exposing' Victor to attract more followers.
But Zeddy fired back, accusing Victor of being biased against female comedians and of trying to kill the show and all female comedians.
'You are only at Churchill show because your show with Teacher Wanjiku at Citizen never worked. It never succeeded. I'm sure it won't succeed if you go back. You went back through Victor and that's why you're known,' Zeddy said.
He also accused Victor of trying to make his wife the 'queen of comedy' and of threatening other female comedians to prevent them from succeeding.
As the controversy continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how the Churchill show will address these allegations.
