On July 2, 2020, Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena, who had previously tested positive for coronavirus, have now tested negative, according to Djokovic's press service.

Neither the 33-year-old player nor his partner experienced any symptoms, despite their initial positive test results.

The couple had been self-isolating in Belgrade since returning from Zadar, Croatia, where they had attended Djokovic's ill-fated Adria Tour.

The tournament, which saw little social distancing and packed stands, had been widely criticized, with four players, including Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric, and Viktor Troicki, testing positive for the virus.

Additionally, Djokovic's coach, Goran Ivanisevic, also contracted COVID-19.

As part of his efforts to make amends, Djokovic donated over 40,000 euros ($45,000) to the Serbian town of Novi Pazar, which has been severely affected by the pandemic.
